The 14th annual JJA 2010 Jazz Awards were celebrated at City Winery , New York City, on Monday,
June 14. Doors opened at 3:30 for the Awards presentation, honoring nominees
and winners in more than 40 categories of excellence in jazz, jazz
presenting and jazz documentation. Beer from Brother
Thelonious Belgian Ale , wine from City Winery's own reserve, buffet
reception and musical performances by Bobby Sanabria Big Band (thanks to Jazzheads Records ), Tia Fuller Quartet
